The HVAC Sales Representative identifies customer needs and recommends appropriate HVAC solutions. They manage the sales process from lead generation through to closing deals and post-sale follow-up, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth

Key Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Engagement:

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and lead follow-ups.

• Conduct site visits and customer consultations to assess HVAC needs.

• Present and explain HVAC products and services, tailoring solutions to fit customer requirements.

• Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and contracts.

Product Knowledge

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HVAC products, technologies, and industry trends.

• Explain product features, benefits, pricing, and warranties.

• Client Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

• Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

• Coordination & Teamwork:

• Collaborate with installation teams, engineers, and service technicians to ensure smooth delivery and implementation.

• Work with sales managers to meet or exceed sales goals.

• Administrative Tasks:

• Track and report sales activity and performance using CRM tools.

• Ensure all customer interactions and sales activities are properly documented.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proven sales or customer service experience (HVAC or technical sales preferred)

• Ability to understand and explain technical concepts

• Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC industry or construction sales

• Knowledge of HVAC systems, codes, and energy efficiency standards

• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office
